High school and college sports fans in DeSoto County now have a new way to follow their favorite teams — and it’s built with local coverage front and center.
Mississippi Sports Group has officially launched the Mississippi Sports app for iOS, along with its companion website, MississippiSportsApp.com, giving DeSoto County readers expanded access to scores, stories and breaking sports news from across the state.
The free app is available now on the Apple App Store.
DeSoto County Coverage Elevated
Through the app, DeSoto County sports coverage from DeSoto County News is now integrated into a statewide digital platform. That means fans can follow local high school football, basketball, baseball, softball and other athletics — while also staying connected to major college programs across Mississippi.
From Friday night lights in Hernando and Southaven to playoff runs at DeSoto Central and Lewisburg, local stories now sit alongside statewide coverage in one unified feed.
