DeSoto Central softball to hold fall camp

The DeSoto Central High School softball team has announced that it will hold a fall camp at their diamond on Sept. 18-19. Hours are from 6-8 p.m. each evening.

The camp will be for players ages 8-12 looking to improve their softball playing skills.

Areas covered will include pitching, offense, defense, and base running skills with Lady Jag players and coaches providing the instruction.

Camp participants should wear athletic clothing/softball attire, tennis shoes/cleats, and bring proper equipment (glove, helmet, etc.).

The cost of the camp is $60 which includes both nights of instruction, as well as a camp T-shirt. In addition, the top five stand-out campers will receive a DC backpack at the end of the camp.

Campers must required to fill out the Google Form Registration and submit payment by Sept. 7 in order to have a spot at the camp.

Payment may be submitted via Venmo (@DCHS-Softball) or cash/check (made out to DCHS Softball Booster) that can be turned in to the DeSoto Central front office, with ATTN to Coach Harley Bumpous.
