All-state baseball teams

State high school baseball coaches released their all-state teams at the end of the recent state championship series.

In Class 7A, Lewisburg pitcher/infielder Talon Haley was named the Player of the Year. Luke Romine and Preston Johnson, both of Hernando, were listed on the 7A second team. 

In MAIS Class 5A, Chris McMinn of state champion Magnolia Heights was chosen as Coach of the Year and pitcher/infielder Cole Prosek was named Player of the Year. Ethan Barnes, Tre Miller and Qunicy Pratt were tabbed to the 5A All-State team.
