Rosters have been announced for the Mississippi/Alabama High School All-Star football game and the Bernard Blackwell North/South High School football all-star game set to be played at the end of the season.
The Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game will be played in Hattiesburg on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 12 Noon at M.M. Roberts Stadium on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi. The Bernard Blackwell North/South All-Star Football Game will take place a week prior to that at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9 at Milner Stadium (Gulfport High School -Gulfport.)
Two players from DeSoto Central and one from Lake Cormorant were named to the Mississippi roster for their game with Alabama all-stars in Hattiesburg. Lake Cormorant’s standout defensive lineman Kamarion Franklin was chosen, along with DeSoto Central linebackers Taurean Davis and Chris Thomas.
On the North roster for the contest at Gulfport were defensive back Brandon Brooks and lineman John Randle Jr. of Horn Lake, linemen Rodderius Bland and Hunter Howard of Lake Cormorant, and Olive Branch quarterback Raheem Vance.
