Woman charged with fondling minor

May 16, 2025 – A Coldwater woman was arrested and charged with fondling by a person of trust in a case involving a minor.

Natalia Wright, age 31 of Coldwater, was arrested on Tuesday evening, May 13 by DeSoto County sheriff’s officials booked into the DeSoto County Adult Detention Center. Wright posted a bond of $200,000 and was released on Thursday morning, May 15. A June 6 court date was set in the case, according to DeSoto County jail information.

Media reports indicated at Wright was a special education teacher at Lewisburg High School when the incidents that led to the charges took place, but last month left the position. Her name is not listed among the Lewisburg High School staff list on the school website.
