Multiple local businesses throughout the county are offering Valentine’s Day activities for couples to enjoy during this season. Some of these businesses include Silo Square, Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce, Cedar Hill Farm, and Chick-fil-A Southaven.
Chick-fil-A Southaven is offering to send “Cow Grams” for participating customers. These packages will include the choice of a heart shaped tray, delivery from the Chick-fil-A cow, Valentine card, a balloon, and a special gift. They are able to deliver to Southaven, Hernando, Horn Lake, Lake Cormorant, and Walls, and this offer is available Feb. 13-14. Between Feb. 1-Feb. 14, heart-shaped trays are available for purchase while supplies last.
Throughout Feb. 14-Feb. 17, Cedar Hill Farm is having Valentine’s Dinner Dates. These dinners will include a five-course meal with an appetizer, soup, salad, dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage. Silo Square is organizing the Galentine’s Sip, Shop, and Stroll event for Saturday, Feb. 10. Participating stores will have bingo cards for patrons to earn the chance to receive amazing prizes up to $300. This event will occur during business hours.
The Southaven Thunder Harley-Davidson will be giving away a free date at Sidecar Café. Participants can visit the store and register to win now through Feb. 13, and the winner will be announced Feb. 13.
Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce will host the Hernando Chocolate Tour at the Courthouse Square. This event will occur between 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Local participating businesses include Bon Von Gift Shop, Cynthia’s Boutique, Commerce Street Market, Hernando Flower Shop, jMod Boutique, Magnolia Soap & Bath, Small Town Sass, Social x Saint, The Pink Zinnia, and The Square Cupboard. These participating businesses will have Valentine’s Day deals and chocolate treats.
There are also many local restaurants in DeSoto County that will be open for couples to have a Valentine’s Day dinner.
