Tornado Watch Issued for DeSoto County Through 11 p.m.

A tornado watch has been issued for DeSoto County until 11 p.m. Monday, DeSoto County Government and the DeSoto County Sheriffs Office said.

The agencies urged residents to remain weather aware and to have a predetermined safe place inside their homes in the event a tornado warning is issued.

Officials told residents to monitor local alerts and follow guidance from county authorities for any updates, the agencies said.
