Tanker truck rollover causes interstate closure

WHO:          The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT).

WHAT:         Interstate CLOSURE.

WHEN:         From 9 a.m. to T.B.D.

WHERE:       I-55 Southbound at Pleasant Hill Rd. / Nesbit Rd. EX 284 in DeSoto County.

WHY:           Crash.

HOW:           Crews are working to remove an overturned tanker truck from the roadway. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route.

Officials note this would be an extended closure, will update when roadway is opened.
