Supervisors to meet on Monday

July 19 – DeSoto County Supervisors will have a number of items on their agenda for the regular meeting on Monday, July 22. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Supervisors board room on the third floor of the County Administration Building in Hernando.

Among the items on Monday’s agenda:

Board members will hear a request for a donation to the annual Honor Our Troops Golf Classic in Olive Branch.

The First Regional Library will make a presentation asking for financial assistance during Fiscal Year 2025.

County Environmental Services/Parks and Greenways Director Ray Laughter will present a follow-up on a proposed annual price adjustment from Waste Connections for additional carts.

Several budget amendments will be considered and the Ag, Transportation and Facilities committees will make updated reports.
