Oct. 11, 2024 – A Southaven woman was indicted Friday on charges of capital murder in connection with her arrest back in March after the death of her daughter.
The indictment alleges that Jessica Tabor, age 31 of Southaven, did “willfully and feloniously kill and murder her daughter.”
Tabor was arrested on March 22 when a child was found dead inside a home on Bridgewater Drive.
“I’d like to thank the Grand Jury for their diligent consideration of these cases, which are sometimes very tough and emotional,” said DeSoto County District Attorney Matthew Barton. “I would also like to recognize the Southaven Police Department for their elite investigative efforts that led to this indictment.”
Tabor remains in the DeSoto County Jail without bond pending trial.
