Rotary presentation to continue book donations

The Rotary Club of Olive Branch Friday morning presented a $500 check to continue a long-standing tradition the service club has done for its adopted school, Overpark Elementary School.

Each Tuesday noon when the club meets at the Olive Branch Country Club, the club presents a certificate to the guest speaker providing the program. The certificate acknowledges that the club is donating a book to the Overpark library in the speaker’s name.

Rotary club president Grant Roberts visited the library Friday morning to present the check to school librarian Racheal Derrick, principal Aisha Maxwell, and assistant principal Nikki Bailey.
