Primary election day
Aug. 5, 2025 – Final unofficial vote totals from the Tuesday state Senate primary elections affecting DeSoto County.
On Monday, the Circuit Clerk’s Office reported that there were a total of 620 absentee ballots cast.
- 593 were Republican
- 27 were Democrat
Voter turnout was 8.22 percent. A total of 7,390 votes were cast, out of 89,924 registered voters in DeSoto County.
