Police pursuit from Memphis ends in multi‑vehicle crash, four suspects arrested in Southaven

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — A police pursuit that began in Memphis ended Sunday afternoon with a multi‑vehicle crash and four suspects in custody at the intersection of Highway 51 and Stateline Road, according to Southaven authorities.
Memphis police said officers initially responded to a shots‑fired call near Elvis Presley Boulevard and Shelby Drive. Investigators located the suspect vehicle on Holmes Road but lost sight of it shortly afterward. A regional broadcast was issued to surrounding agencies.
Southaven police later spotted the vehicle as it crossed into Mississippi. According to the Southaven Communication Center, Memphis officers were actively pursuing the suspects in connection with the shooting when the vehicle entered Southaven city limits and continued southbound until reaching Highway 51 and Main Street. There, the suspects’ vehicle collided with multiple other vehicles, prompting a large emergency response.
After a short foot chase, all four suspects were taken into custody. Only one minor injury was reported among the people involved in the crash.

Charges:
- Memphis: Multiple felony charges
- Southaven: Narcotics‑related charges, fugitive from justice, traffic violations
The intersection remained closed for a time as police investigated the crash and pursuit.
