The City of Olive Branch said Olive Branch Aviation showcased activity at Taylor Field during a meeting with the Mayor’s Youth Council, according to a City of Olive Branch social media post signed by Mayor Ken Adams.
The post said Airport Director Dave Taylor and Capt. Ken Hammerton and Jessie Hammerton-Sawyer of Air Venture joined the event. The post said Olive Branch Aviation described the city as ‘soaring to new heights’ at Taylor Field.
The city post said the Olive Branch Airport has been in operation since 1972 and that the city acquired the airport from Belz Enterprises in November 2018. The post also said KOLV is one of the busiest airports in Mississippi.
