Olive Branch Rotary Club scholarships awarded

Six Olive Branch-area seniors were awarded scholarships by the Rotary Club of Olive Branch on Tuesday, May 14.

The Rotary scholarships of $1,000 each are provided to deserving seniors through an application process. The scholarships go to seniors from Olive Branch, Lewisburg, and Center Hill high schools.

The scholarship awards were presented during a meeting of the Rotary Club held at the Olive Branch Country Club. Funding for the scholarships each year are provided through the club’s fundraising efforts, including an annual golf tournament.

• Mia Puentes – Olive Branch High School
• Katelyn Christy – Center Hill High School
• Claire Taylor – Lewisburg High School
