Olive Branch recognizes property and evidence manager
The City of Olive Branch this week recognized Brittany Williams as part of Property and Evidence Manager Appreciation Week, Mayor Ken Adams said.
The city said property and evidence managers ensure that evidence and property are properly collected, stored, secured and accessed only by authorized personnel. The city described the role as central to accountability and integrity within law enforcement agencies.
The city said Williams brought experience from a previous role in the field and has been an essential part of the department. The city said her work ensures incoming and outgoing property and evidence are handled with accuracy, professionalism and care.
The city also said property and evidence staff coordinate closely with Records Management to fulfill records requests for citizens and other law enforcement agencies.
Ken Adams, Olive Branch mayor, said the city appreciates Williams’ dedication and that her work strengthens department operations every day, according to the city statement.
