Olive Branch police officer arrested on fondling charge
An Olive Branch police officer has been arrested following allegations of fondling, according to the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities confirmed that Officer Joseph Barbour was arrested Thursday in Memphis on a fugitive from justice charge related to a DeSoto County warrant for fondling.
Barbour is currently being held in Tennessee and awaits extradition back to DeSoto County, where he will face the charge.

City officials in Olive Branch said Barbour remains employed with the department pending a review by the Board of Aldermen, which will determine his future employment status.
