The Olive Branch Police Department said a motor vehicle accident has shut Highway 302 at Legacy Boulevard in both directions, and the roadway remained closed while crews responded, according to a social media post from the department.
The department said both eastbound and westbound lanes were closed and urged motorists to use an alternate route.
No estimate was available for when authorities would be able to reopen the roadway, the department said.
The message was posted on the City of Olive Branch government page and included the name of Mayor Ken Adams, the post showed.
