The Olive Branch Police Department said in a social media post that a motor vehicle crash has closed both eastbound lanes of Highway 302 at Legacy Boulevard and motorists should avoid the area.
Police said officers were turning motorists around at Highway 302 and Hacks Cross Boulevard and urged drivers to use alternate routes.
The post said there was no estimated timeframe for when law enforcement crews would be able to reopen the roadway.
The notice appeared on the City of Olive Branch government page and included the name of Mayor Ken Adams, according to the post.
