Olive Branch police, city officials speak at homeowners association meeting

The Olive Branch Police Department said it attended a Plantation Property Owners Association homeowners association meeting to speak with residents about crime statistics and city information.

Alderman Dale Dickerson of Ward 6 and representatives from other city departments also attended, the department said. The department said the meetings give officers a chance to connect directly with residents, answer questions and provide updates on public safety in Olive Branch.

The department encouraged other homeowners associations to invite police to their meetings, saying such opportunities help the department share information and remain transparent with citizens.

The post announcing the appearance was published on the City of Olive Branch government page and carried the name of Mayor Ken Adams, according to the department.
