Olive Branch officials warn of severe storms, tornado possible
Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams and the Olive Branch Police and Fire departments warned residents Monday that severe weather could affect the area the afternoon of March 9, 2026.
The National Weather Service issued a slight risk for severe storms for parts of the state, the agencies said. The NWS said everyone has the potential to see severe storms, hail and damaging winds.
The National Weather Service also said a tornado cannot be ruled out, according to the advisory cited by city officials.
Mayor Adams and the Olive Branch Police and Fire departments urged residents to stay weather-aware and check for updates throughout the day.
