Mayor Ken Adams and Lieutenant Carlos Wilson spoke at the Hope Center Youth Leadership Conference on Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn in Olive Branch, the Olive Branch Police Department said.
The department said the officials were invited by Hope Center director Stacy Dodd to speak with youth about making good choices, doing the right thing and giving their best as they navigate life.
The department’s post thanked other guest speakers for inspiring the young attendees and said the officials shared words of encouragement, wisdom and motivation.
The Olive Branch Police Department said it was an honor to spend time with the young leaders, called the city proud to invest in its youth and thanked the Hope Center for making a positive difference in their lives.
