Olive Branch offers free cleanup kits to residents and groups

The City of Olive Branch is offering free cleanup kits to residents and groups that pledge to clean a section of roadway, an intersection or parts of a neighborhood, the city said.

The city said the kits include orange pickup bags, gloves and other supplies and are available year-round to individuals, volunteer groups, businesses, school groups and homeowners associations.

Interested volunteers and organizations are asked to complete the sign-up form at www.obms.us/cleanupday, the city said. The city said completed forms will be issued a cleanup kit.

Businesses and other entities that commit to maintaining their assigned areas will receive a complimentary decal identifying them as a community partner in the city’s efforts to combat litter, the city said.
