Olive Branch Farmers Market Celebrates Mississippi Agriculture

The Olive Branch Farmers Market is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon during June through September, according to organizers. The market features Mississippi-grown produce, baked goods, sweet treats, crafts, and pop-ups from local businesses and nonprofits supporting North Mississippi.

Ken Adams, Olive Branch mayor, encouraged residents to include the market in their weekend plans and emphasized the importance of supporting local agriculture. “End Mississippi Farmers Market Week on a fresh note,” he said. “Support local farmers and take home fresh Mississippi produce.”

Organizers remind shoppers that many Certified Farmers Markets operate throughout the summer and some year-round. By shopping local, consumers help ensure Mississippi agriculture continues to thrive for future generations, officials said.

The event is part of Mississippi Farmers Market Week, which highlights the benefits of buying local and supporting farmers across the state.
