Olive Branch Chamber to present a Community Economic Summit

Sep 28, 2024 – Successful businesses thrive on connecting with other industry leaders and the Olive Branch Chamber of Commerce looks to foster connections and growth in an Economic Summit event Oct. 16 at the Whispering Woods Hotel and Conference Center, 7300 Hacks Cross Road.

Several programs have been planned to focus on personal health, leadership, workforce and business development, as well as using AI and Chat GPT for business.

Olive Branch Chamber Executive Director Vickie DuPree said a busy, but informative day has been planned.

“We’ll have two different speakers speaking at the same time, so you choose whether you want workforce development, business development, or healthcare,” DuPree said. “We’ve got all that going on during the day, starting at 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.”

The summit will be using the Oak Ballroom and Mahogany Ballroom for the speakers, who will be available to talk with attendees before and after their presentations.

DuPree said a Red Carpet Reception will be held at 3:30 p.m. with the unveiling of a video that showcases Olive Branch and its businesses.

“We’re going to present the City and the Chamber video for our websites made by Made in Mississippi,” DuPree said. Made in Mississippi has been doing videos of different businesses locally.”

The Chamber wants the Summit to gather industry leaders, innovative thinkers, and key decision makers to explore the latest trends and opportunities in the global economy. It’s expected that those who attend can take what they learn to drive growth and sustainability.

The event is open to the public. Call the Chamber office for more information and for booth exhibitor information by phone at 662-895-2600, or by email at info@olivebranchms.com
