HORN LAKE, Miss. — A bold new vision has been unveiled for the historic Circle G Ranch property once owned by Elvis Presley, with plans to transform the site into a multibillion-dollar global attraction anchored by one of the world’s largest stadiums. However, it now becomes the latest proposal for the property that hopes to not have the same fate as the previous plans. At the same time, little is known about the main person proposing the complex.
Supervision Entertainment has announced that naming rights are now open for an 80,000- to 100,000-seat stadium to be built as part of Magic Gardens USA, a $6.5 billion destination project proposed for the Memphis area. Developers say the stadium, comparable in size to Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, will be capable of hosting events from the Olympics and FIFA World Cup to NFL games, concerts, rodeos, conventions, and political gatherings.
A Mega-Attraction in the Making
Magic Gardens USA is planned across nearly 600 acres, just minutes from Graceland and Memphis International Airport. The development calls for:
- A 4,200-room condo/hotel complex overlooking a 45-acre lake with nightly light, hologram, and fountain shows.
- Two convention centers.
- Two million-square-foot indoor waterparks, dubbed Space Park and Jurassic Park, billed as the largest in the world.
- A world-class aquarium highlighting tropical fish and coral reefs.
- Theme parks with thrill rides.
- A 3,500-seat theater and recording studio for symphony, ballet, opera, and classic performances.
- A global live-streaming broadcast center.
Developers say the project could generate 8,000 to 10,000 jobs and attract between 5 million and 10 million visitors annually once completed.
Historic Elvis Connection
The site includes land once owned by Elvis Presley, where he and Priscilla Presley spent their honeymoon. Plans call for preserving and restoring the couple’s honeymoon cottage as part of the attraction.
Naming Rights and Investment
Supervision Entertainment is now accepting bids for the stadium’s naming rights, which it expects could exceed the $650 million deal SoFi paid for its Los Angeles facility.
Funding for the project is being offered through limited partnerships open to private investors, corporations, pension funds, governments, and entertainment companies. Site preparation could begin in early 2026, pending financing.
Magic Gardens USA is being designed by the internationally acclaimed architects behind Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, which has become one of the world’s top tourist attractions.
Storm’s plans are the latest proposal for the property that once was the honeymoon destination of Elvis and Priscilla Presley but for various reasons did not happen. Here’s a timeline of past plans for Circle G Ranch.
Baron Storm promotes himself in the news release as an international entrepreneur involved in the film, television, publishing, real estate, private and public companies and the international music business.
Still, the proposal has to be presented to governmental officials, which apparently has not happened, yet. A check of recent county and Horn Lake planning commission agendas fails to mention anything about Magic Gardens or Circle G.
It remains to be seen if this grandiose idea can actually happen, or join the other past offerings for the historic ranch site of the King of Rock and Roll.
