Mississippi woman arrested after missing juvenile found safe in Colorado

The Olive Branch Police Department said Friday that Sharayon Brown and juvenile Shaniah Isom were located and found safe in Pueblo, Colorado, at approximately 4:30 p.m.

The department said Brown was taken into custody without incident and will be extradited to Mississippi to face a felony charge of interstate removal of a child under 14.

The department said Shaniah Isom is expected to be reunited with her father later Friday evening.

In a release signed by Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams, the department thanked the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Marshals Service, the Colorado Springs Police Department, the Pueblo Police Department and the Colorado State Police for their assistance in the quick and safe resolution of the incident.
