The Miller Road bridge over U.S. 78 in DeSoto County has reopened, according to a Sept. 30 update from the City of Olive Branch. The update said, “The Miller Rd. Bridge over US 78 in DeSoto County has now been reopened!”
The city’s Sept. 29 update said the Craft Road bridge over U.S. 78 in DeSoto County was back open. The Mississippi Department of Transportation had announced bridge repair work along Highway 78, including the Craft Road bridge, the Highway 305 overpasses and the Miller Road bridge. Motorists were warned to expect temporary lane closures during construction. The project was later anticipated to be completed by mid-September because of inclement weather, according to the city’s update.
