The Mid South Business Exchange will launch Sept. 8, the Southaven Chamber Foundation said in a social media post. The program aims to provide local business owners and professionals with education, networking and resources, the foundation said.
The foundation said the first podcast episode, to be released Sept. 8, will feature Beth Snow of Back Office Guru discussing “The 5 Most Important Financial Reports You Need for Your Business.” The post directs listeners to a link to watch the podcast.
The foundation said it will follow the podcast with a workshop titled “Building a Financial Foundation for Business Success” on Sept. 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Beth Snow is scheduled to lead the session, and registration is $20 per person, the post said.
The Southaven Chamber Foundation said organizations can sponsor MSBX, with options ranging from individual podcast episodes to year-long packages. The foundation noted that it is a 501(c)(3) organization and that sponsorship dollars directly support its business education efforts.
