McCaleb serves at Senate page

Reynolds “Ren” McCaleb of Nesbit recently served as a page for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff.

Ren is pictured with Lt. Governor C. Delbert Hosemann Jr., and Sen. Kevin Blackwell (R-Southaven), who sponsored his visit.

Ren is the son of Karie Sue and Reed McCaleb and attends Lewisburg High School.

When asked about the week, Ren said, “I enjoyed being a Junior Page in the Senate because it was a rare opportunity to be a part of Mississippi’s law making system. I enjoyed learning more about bills that have to do with our criminal prosecution system and more. I would personally like to thank Sen. Kevin Blackwell for giving me this unique chance to serve the state of Mississippi.”
