Manhunt underway after two killed in Holly Springs shootings
Aug. 9, 2025 – Holly Springs police are searching for Darian Montrell McKinnsey, wanted for murder in connection with two fatal shootings in Holly Springs early Saturday.
Officers were called to the Circle K on Highway 7 South around 5:55 a.m., where they found a man fatally shot. Witnesses reported seeing a small white SUV leaving the scene.
A short time later, police responded to a single-car crash on West Boundary Street and discovered a woman in the back seat who had also been shot and killed.
The Holly Springs Police Department and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Task Force are investigating. Anyone with information on McKinnsey’s whereabouts is urged to call 662-649-6228 or 662-252-1311.
