Local restaurant owners share their best holiday recipes

While everyone has different holiday traditions, one common thread that most families share is food. 

DeSoto County restaurant owners sharing their favorite festive dishes for you to try this holiday, and here’s one example.

Brice Bailey, Owner of Stak’s Pancake Kitchen, shares his recipe for a white chocolate peppermint martini.

Ingredients: 

  • 2 oz. of vodka 
  • 0.5 oz. of peppermint Schnapps 
  • 1 oz. peppermint syrup 
  • 1 oz. of white chocolate melted 
  • 2 oz. of crushed peppermint 
  • 1 scoop of ice 

Instructions: 

  • Grab a shaker, pour vodka, peppermint Schnapps, and chocolate syrup in and stir 
  • Pour Ice over top cover and shake 20-30 times 
  • Grab a martini glass and rim with peppermint syrup and crushed peppermints 
  • Pour drink into glass and serve (no ice shavings) 
  • White Chocolate mix or Chocolate mix: 2 cups of chips melted with ½ cup of half and half whisked into mix
