Local cattlemen invited to informative session on beef cattle nutrition
The Senatobia Church of Christ Activities Hall will be hosting an informative session for local cattlemen and cattlewomen on July 30, starting at 6:30 p.m. The event will feature Dr. Brandi Karisch, a specialist in beef cattle nutrition from Mississippi State University Extension.
Dr. Karisch will be addressing essential topics regarding beef cattle nutrition as the community prepares for the fall and winter months. Attendees can expect a detailed presentation aimed at enhancing their understanding of best practices in this crucial area of livestock management.
In addition to the informative session, a meal will be provided, fostering opportunities for attendees to network and engage in fellowship with fellow cattlemen and cattlewomen. Organizers are enthusiastic about the event, anticipating a productive evening of learning and camaraderie.
Organizers say it will be a wonderful opportunity to learn from Dr. Karisch and connect with others in the community who share a passion for cattle farming.
Those planning to attend are requested to RSVP by July 25 by contacting the Tate County Extension office at 662-562-4274. This will assist organizers in ensuring adequate arrangements are made for the meal and seating.
The event promises to be both educational and enjoyable, promising valuable insights into beef cattle nutrition and a chance to build connections within the local agricultural community. Participants are encouraged to come prepared to learn, share, and enjoy the evening’s program.
