Foxworthy is classified as one of the most respected and successful comedians in the U.S. He has the greatest number of comedy-records sold in history and is a multiple Grammy Award nominee. Foxworthy is known for his series of jokes about “you might be redneck if.”
Foxworthy will have Tammy Pescatelli as a guest comedian, who is known for her sassy sexiness and her bold, witty sarcasm. Self-described as a “verbal assassin,” she brings her own unique spin on various topics where she holds her own. She has made appearances on various shows including The View, Guy’s Grocery Games, the Howard Stern Show, among others.
“We could not be more excited to bring legendary comedian Jeff Foxworthy to the Heindl Center on Friday, Aug. 23,” Dr. Blake Bostick, director of the Heindl Center said. “Jeff Foxworthy is one of the most respected and successful comedians in the country, the best-selling comedy recording artist in history, a multiple Grammy Award nominee, the best-selling author of more than 26 books, and a member of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Widely known for his redneck jokes, his act goes well beyond that to explore the humor in everyday family interactions and human nature. Opening for Jeff Foxworthy is Tammy Pescatelli, one of the hardest working women in comedy today, who will bring her brassy, bold voice and witty sarcasm with tongue-in-cheek humor.”
