DeSoto County Independence Day closures

July 2 – All DeSoto County Courts, Animal Services, and non-Emergency offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5, in observation of Independence Day.

*Household waste pick up in unincorporated DeSoto County will not run Thursday, July 4 and will be delayed by one day. Normal pick up schedules will return the following week. *County curbside rubbish and debris collection will not run Thursday, July 4th. Pickup will be delayed by one day.

*The DeSoto County Rubbish Pit will be closed on Thursday as well. For questions or concerns regarding waste disposal services please call DeSoto County Environmental Services at 662-469-8152. Emergency services will NOT be impacted by the holiday closings.

*County curbside rubbish and debris collection will not run Thursday, July 4. Pickup will be delayed by one day.
