Horn Lake police seek two suspects after man shot at McDonald’s parking lot

Horn Lake police found a man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder in the parking lot of the McDonald’s at 4170 Fountain Lane on March 26, the Horn Lake Police Department said. Emergency medical personnel transported the man to a hospital, and he was later released, the department said.

Police said the investigation determined the man had been jumped by several people in the parking lot. The department said two individuals who first approached the man pulled a handgun during a short struggle and one of them fired a shot that struck the victim in the shoulder.

Horn Lake investigators identified several people they say were involved in the assault and have obtained arrest warrants for 22-year-old Markevion Williams on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon and conspiracy to commit a crime, both felonies, and for 20-year-old Morgan Williams on a charge of conspiracy to commit a crime, a felony, the department said.

The department identified the shooting and the suspect information in a public post and said the victim’s name was being withheld. Anyone with information about the location of Markevion Williams or Morgan Williams is asked to contact the Horn Lake Police Department at 662-393-6174, the department said.
