The Horn Lake Police Department said its K9s Art, Caine and Vincent will receive bullet- and stab-protective vests through a charitable donation from the nonprofit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.
The department said all three vests were sponsored by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. Delivery is expected within 10 weeks.
Art’s vest will be embroidered with “In memory of K9 Floki, MS DOC – EOW 4-1-26”, Caine’s with “In memory of K9 Zigg, Southaven, MS – EOW 5-16-26” and Vincent’s with “In memory of K9 Fox, Rankin County, MS – EOW 6-5-26”.
