The annual Hernando Veterans Parade stepped out along Commerce Street to the Courthouse Square, then back down Center Street, all meant to showcase veterans and thank them for their service.

An estimated 1,000 spectators lined the parade route that featured bands, vehicles, floats, and of course, veterans. More than 50 parade units and about 1,000 students were involved.

A luncheon followed the parade for veterans.
