Hernando parks office short-staffed Friday

The Hernando Parks and Recreation Department said Friday its front office is short-staffed and may be temporarily unavailable by phone.

Callers were asked to leave a voicemail at 662-429-2688. The department said staff will return calls.

The department said staff email addresses are listed on its website at https://www.cityofhernando.org/departments/parks-recreation/about-us#:~:text=Hernando%20Parks%20and%20Recreation%20Staff and registration is available 24/7 at https://www.cityofhernando.org/departments/parks-recreation.

The department apologized for any inconvenience and thanked the public, the statement said.
