Hernando Chamber introduces real estate professional Taylor Phillips

The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce introduced Taylor Phillips as a real estate professional and member of Burch Realty Group. Phillips is a lifelong resident of DeSoto County, Mississippi, and graduated from Hernando High School. He earned an associate degree in business administration from Northwest Mississippi Community College and continued his education at the University of Mississippi.

Phillips began his real estate career in 2015 and received Rookie of the Year recognition from the North Mississippi Association of Realtors for his sales volume during his first year in the industry. The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce named him Man of the Year in 2017, and he participated in Leadership NWMAR in 2018.

He has served on the chamber’s Board of Directors since 2022. In 2024, Phillips earned the Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation from the National Association of Realtors.

Outside real estate, Phillips and his family own and operate Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home in Hernando, which the chamber describes as a family-owned business since 1979. He started a snow cone business at age 13 and operated it until 2021. Phillips also works part time as a travel agent with Starward Vacations.
