Hernando celebrates the Christmas season

Hernando was the first DeSoto County community to celebrate the Christmas holiday day with a parade, held Monday night, Dec. 2. Participants went west on Commerce Street to the Courthouse Square, then went around the square to Center Street and headed east from the square to the breakup point near Hernando Baptist Church.
