Halloween events at DeSoto County public libraries

The ghoulish season of Halloween is about and the First Regional Libraries of DeSoto County have planned several events around Halloween for your young trick-or-treaters. Here’s a list of the activities planned for the libraries in Hernando, Horn Lake, Southaven, Olive Branch, and in Walls.  

James F. Anderson Public Library (Hernando)

Oct. 29-  Halloween Fest Party 4:00-6:00 pm (Games, prizes, refreshments. Come in costume!)

  • Oct. 31- Haunted House Art 4 p.m.

M.R. Dye Public Library (Horn Lake)

  • Oct. 29- Shivering Stories & Trembling Tales 4:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 31- Storytime: Boo, Boo, BOO 10 a.m.

B.J. Chain Public Library (Olive Branch)

  • Oct. 30- Halloween Storytime 10 a.m.
  • Oct. 31- Come trick or treat with the library staff at Olive Branch City Hall! 6-9 p.m.

M.R. Davis Public Library (Southaven)

Walls Public Library
