Free drive-thru flu shot event at Baptist DeSoto on Thursday
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – Local residents have a quick and easy opportunity to protect themselves against the flu this season. Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto and the DeSoto Community Health Center are partnering to host a free drive-thru influenza vaccine event for community members 18 years and older on Thursday, Oct. 9.
The event will be held at Baptist DeSoto, located at 7601 Southcrest Parkway. The drive-thru will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Attendees are welcome to begin lining up as early as 3:30 p.m. at the west entrance drive.
The joint effort underscores the commitment of both organizations to public health and preventative care in DeSoto County. Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto, a leading 339-bed hospital in the region, continues its mission to serve the community, building on recent achievements like its recognition as a high-performing hospital by U.S. News & World Report for 2025–2026.
