Failed lightning arrestor leaves about 1,800 members without power, co-op says

A failed lightning arrestor caused a power outage that left just over 1,800 members without service while the device is replaced, Northcentral Electric Cooperative said.

The cooperative said switching operations have restored power to many members. Crews are replacing the failed device, the utility added.
