DeSoto County Dream Center DC Race 5K 2025 Matching Weekend

May 29, 2025 – The DeSoto County Dream Center (DCDC is announcing its upcoming DC Race 5K and Kids Fun Run presented by the Homer Skelton Auto Group, will take place Sept. 6. 

Open registration and Matching Weekend is May 30-June 2, where Homer Skelton Auto Group will match all race registrations and donations given this weekend. 

Proceeds from the race benefit the DeSoto County Dream Center, providing emergency food and clothing, quality healthcare for the working uninsured, and educational assistance. This year, the event is planned for Silo Square in Southaven. 

The goal is to raise over $20,000 during the Matching Weekend that will be matched by the Homer Skelton Auto Group.
