DeSoto County adds new recycling dumpster in Southaven

DeSoto County Government announced a new recycling dumpster in Southaven located behind Southaven Intermediate School at 175 Rasco Road, the county said.

The county said the dumpster that had been at Stowewood was removed after contaminated items were placed in the bin.

DeSoto County Government reminded residents to be mindful of items accepted in the recycling bin, saying it accepts paper and cardboard, plastic and aluminum cans.
