DeSoto Civic Garden Club observes Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the “Plant It Pink” initiative celebrates hope, strength, and awareness through gardening. The DeSoto Civic Garden Club created a tower of flowers, a large potted container and a trough with shades of pink and white vinca blooms, pink pumpkins and ribbons to show support and raise awareness displayed at the Bridgetown Community Center, 2645 Itasca Drive, Nesbit Mississippi. 

The DeSoto Cuvic Garden Club is a member of the National Garden Club, Inc., and the Garden Clubs of Mississippi,. Hills and Delta District.
