Olive Branch officials closed Centerhill Road at DeSoto Road after a motor vehicle crash and urged drivers to avoid the area, Mayor Ken Adams said in a city statement.
Police have shut the entire roadway and are advising motorists at Highway 302 to use alternate routes, the statement said.
DeSoto County Electric has been notified and is en route to repair damage or convert the intersection into a four-way stop, Adams said.
Officials gave no estimate for when the roadway will reopen and urged motorists to seek alternate routes, the statement said.
