DeSoto County officials have announced that the swearing in ceremony for those county officials elected in the November general election, or who advanced to election without opposition in the August primary, will take place Friday evening, Dec. 29, starting at 6 p.m. at the DeSoto County Courthouse.
Elected officials will begin serving their terms on Jan. 1, 2024.
