Organizers announced they are partnering with DeSoto Shred to host a Community Shred Day in Southaven, organizers said.
DeSoto Shred will bring one of its trucks to the event and offer shredding services to Southaven, surrounding areas and the business community, organizers said.
Organizers said they generally hold two to three shred days a year to give residents and businesses an opportunity to dispose of documents they no longer need.
There is a 50-pound limit for items to be shredded, organizers said.
